Louisiana was the top state in the 2021 USTA League Adult 55 & Over Southern Sectional Championships. The Bayou State had three champions and a finalist, edging out Tennessee that had two winners and two finalists.
USTA Southern crowned eight champions in matches that were played Sept. 17-20 at three sites in Asheville, N.C.: Asheville Racquet Club Downtown (headquarters), Asheville Racquet Club South and Aston Park.
Lafayette, La., and Memphis, Tenn. were standout cities with each taking a title and coming in second in another level.
