USTA Southern crowned six champions at the 2022 USTA League Adult 18 & Over #1 (3.0, 4.0, 5,0) Southern Sectional Championships, played July 22-24.
The annual championships were played at the Rome (Ga.) Tennis Center at Berry College. There were over 45 men’s and women’s teams with more than 500 players from nine states. The 2022 USTA League Adult 18 & Over #2 (odd) Southern Sectional Championships will be played at the same site July 29-31.

Baton Rouge, La. was the big winner with champions in Men’s 4.0 and Women’s 3.0. Louisiana led all states by adding the Women’s 4.0 champs and the Men’s 3.0 finalists. Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee scored by claiming a champion and a finalist.
