USTA Southern crowned four champions at the 2022 USTA League Adult 40 & Over #1 (even) Southern Sectional Championships, played Aug. 5-7 for levels 3.0 and 4.0.

Brentwood, Tenn., population 47,200, captured both women’s championships. The teams play out of Crockett Park. With a finalist from Johnson City, Tennessee had three top teams in the tournament. No other state had more than one champion or finalist.
The annual championships were played at the Yarbrough Tennis Center, 1449 Richland Road, Auburn, AL 36830 (tournament headquarters) and Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National, 3700 Robert Trent Jones Trail, Opelika, AL 36801.
