USTA Southern crowned four champions at the 2022 USTA League Adult 40 & Over #2 (odd) Southern Sectional Championships, played Aug. 12-14 for levels 3.5 and 4.5.
Durham, N.C. was the toast of the tournament, capturing the women’s 4.5 championships and placing second in the women’s 3.5 competition. North Carolina also had the men’s 4.5 finalist team from Denver.
The annual championships were played at the Yarbrough Tennis Center, 1449 Richland Road, Auburn, AL 36830 (tournament headquarters) and Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National, 3700 Robert Trent Jones Trail, Opelika, AL 36801.
